How to use GoldRadar Six steps, start to finish
STEP 1
Find your ground
Tap anywhere on the map, or paste coordinates into Search. Decimal, DMS and UTM Arc 1960 all work — the format is detected for you.
STEP 2
Open an analysed area
Green squares are areas we have already processed. Tap one and its fault lines draw automatically. Outside a square there is no data yet.
STEP 3
Read your spot
The Your spot card gives distance and a compass bearing to the nearest fault, and to the best crossing nearby. Walk that bearing.
STEP 4
Check the ground proof
The section table below shows what each line looks like in the terrain. Scarp and valley lines are worth walking. Flat lines are usually roads or field edges.
STEP 5
Prospect along the strike
Follow a fault along its direction, not across it. Crossings where two directions meet are the strongest places to start digging or sampling.
STEP 6
Run ground truth
Ground proof isn't ready for every area yet — it depends on whether that cell has been analysed. If it has, tap ▶ Run ground proof to classify the lines yourself.
Scarp — a step in the ground, a fault Valley — an eroded fracture zone Ridge — a hard band or dyke Flat — no relief, likely not geology
These lines are read from satellite elevation data, not confirmed in the field. They tell you where structure is — never whether gold is there. Always verify on the ground.

Unlock Satellite Data Layers

You're viewing the free terrain layer (fault lines from elevation data). GoldRadar Fusion adds three powerful satellite sources that show mineral deposits on top of those structures:

Fault lines tell you where to look. Satellite alteration tells you whether it's mineralized — saving time in the field.
