About Orex

A Satellite & Geoscience Platform for Mineral Exploration

Orex brings together high-resolution satellite imagery, authoritative geoscience data, and structural and geophysical analysis to help explorers understand the ground before they drill. AI-assisted targeting and export-ready reporting sit on top of that foundation — supporting faster, better-grounded decisions across Tanzania and East Africa.

Satellite & Remote Sensing

High-resolution imagery and spectral analysis to map surface mineralogy and alteration.

Authoritative Data

Geology, occurrences and licences integrated from trusted sources like GMIS, USGS and BGS.

Structure & Geophysics

Faults, shear zones and lineaments mapped against magnetic and radiometric signatures.

AI-Assisted Targeting

Machine learning that prioritises zones — always grounded in real geological evidence.

How Orex Works

From satellite imagery and authoritative data to drill-ready targets and reports

One platform, the full exploration workflow

Orex pairs satellite imagery and remote sensing with authoritative geoscience data, then layers structural, geophysical and AI-assisted analysis on top — so every target is grounded in real evidence, not guesswork.

What is Orex?

Orex is a mineral exploration platform that brings satellite imagery and authoritative geoscience data — geology, structure, geophysics and mineral occurrences — into one place. On top of that foundation it adds AI-assisted targeting and reporting, helping geologists and mining companies decide where to explore with confidence.

What data sources does Orex use?

Orex integrates satellite imagery (such as Sentinel-2 and EMIT) with trusted geoscience services including GMIS (Tanzania), USGS MRDS, BGS World Mineral Statistics, OneGeology and NASA/ESA rasters — combining remote sensing, geology, geophysics and licence data in a single view.

How does Orex use AI?

AI is one part of the workflow, not the whole of it. Orex uses machine learning to cluster gold belts and rank prospectivity — but every result is built on, and checked against, real geological, structural and geophysical evidence. The data comes first; the AI helps prioritise it.

Which regions does Orex cover?

Orex focuses on Tanzania, including the main goldfields, and extends across East Africa. Global layers like USGS MRDS and OneGeology mean the platform can also be applied to other territories on request.

Can I generate reports and export data?

Yes. Orex produces decision-ready exploration reports and lets you export underlying data in PDF, CSV and GeoJSON — maps, layers and targeting summaries you can share with your team or investors.

Is Orex suitable for small-scale operations?

Yes — both small and large operators benefit. Smaller miners can use the same satellite and geoscience data to focus limited budgets on the most promising ground, reducing wasted effort before committing to fieldwork.
